Co-op Credit Society

The South Central Railway Co-operative Credit Society is established in the year 1923 to cater to the financial needs of its shareholders in the South Central Railway zone. It is classified as an "A" class Society with its headquarters at Secunderabad and spreading its services through its branches situated at Vijayawada, Guntakal, Kazipet, Lalaguda and Nanded. It has also extended its service deeply into the South Central Railway zone with its satellite branches at Guntur, Rajamundry,Kadapa, Jalna, Gooty, NZB, DKJ, VKB, TPTY, PAU and RYPS.

The Society collects subscription in form of deposits(CMTD), it issues various loans and stands for the share holder in time of need through its various schemes and funds.

The Society functions with the support of the Board of 21 Directors. The Directors are elected by vote from their respective constituencies. Each Director in turn heads his respective group of delegates who cater to the timely need of the shareholders.

The Society collects compulsory deposits from its shareholders on monthly basis under the Cumulative Monthly Thrift Deposit(CMTD). The subscriptions are received depending on the Basic Pay of the shareholder
